These are some great Drugstore finds that I have really been loving lately!
I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a makeup snob, sue me. But I really love my brands and stay loyal to them if I like their quality.
I am usually disappointed with MANY drugstore purchases and end up never using them and they sit, lonely and sad in my makeup drawers:(
I hate wasting that money and I’m sure you do too…so here are a few items that have my (very important;) seal of approval haha.
1. No. 7 Stay Perfect liquid Foundation by Boots.

$13.99 at Target
I am the color 05 Cream. I have normal to dry skin and this foundation works great on me. The thing I love most about that it has a PUMP…so important in my opinion. You waste way less product using a pump and its just cleaner, always a bonus!
It dries to a velvety finish, I didn’t need to powder but I always do in my T-zone anyway…not sure why haha?
Has an SPF of 15 and is non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores)!
*MY ONLY COMPLAINT* and it’s kind of a big one is the SMELL….pee-yew!
I don’t notice the smell once its applied and during the day but man, while I’m applying it…gag! I can’t really think of a way to describe it, a little like meat…ok, ok I know that sounds cray cray but that is what I immediately think of? So if you are a fan of some braised beef slathered on your skin, then this is the foundation for you;) No, really, the smell doesn’t last promise!
$4.19 at ULTA
LOVE LOVE LOVE. That is all I have to say! beautiful color, supposedly a dupe of MAC’s Lilicent cream blush (thank you Kandee Johnson for the recommendation:)
Very smooth texture, GREAT for aging skin and dry skin.
3. Wet n’ Wild Petal Pusher Palette

$5.99 at Raley’s
For the price of this 8-pan palette you cannot go wrong! The colors in this palette range from very light cream, pastel pink to a dark, dark graphite with silver sparkle. and many lilacs and purples in between.
My favorite shades of the palette are the top right “browbone” color which I use over the whole lid. It’s the prettiest shimmery pink! and the mid-tone purple third from the top in the left column marked “crease.” It is a fantastic dupe of MAC’s Parfait Amour…just a tad darker! As you can see, each shade is marked either browbone, eyelid, crease or definer. This is great for beginners in makeup or those that need guidelines. You of course do not have to use each shade the way they are marked;)
These colors are soft, pigmented and very blend-able. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the payoff and texture of these colors! I am a big fan of purples and this has become a go-to palette for me!
4. Wet n’ Wild Walking on Eggshells Palette

$2.99 at Raley’s
I mean really? $2.99? DONE! even if this palette sucked it’s not tragic because it’s so cheap but it does NOT suck, not even a little bit. Again, the colors are beautifully pigmented, soft and blend-able. This is my go-to neutral palette for every. single. day. The colors work so well together and you can use all three everyday or just one for a simple wash of color. Its so small and easy to grab. Great to take to school, work, travel with etc. I also think the light colors are so fab you can use them as a highlight with any other bold or vibrant shadows you have…and the brown is a nice medium brown that would balance out a more colorful eye look. So if you ARE traveling and want to minimize your eyeshadow packing, throw this palette in with two or tree single colorful shades and you are ALL set!!!
I hope you enjoyed my reviews of these products and please let me know if you have any questions at all! I am always on the hunt for great drugstore products as well as higher end products…I’m a junkie man:)
So PLEASE share with me what you love!
Peace, Love and Lipstick
Laura
